Collection: Asexual Pride

Asexual individuals are those who feel little to no interest in sexual intimacy or relations, to varying degrees.

Originally noted by the symbol of the Ace of Spades, from the abbreviation 'Ace' for Asexual, there was a push in 2010 with a flag design contest held by AVEN, the Asexual Visibility and Education Network.  A user on AVEN's forums online, standup, was the eventual design chosen.   The black band represents Asexuality, the gray band represents "Gray" Asexuals and Demisexuals, those with varying degrees of interest in or attraction to sexual intimacy. The white band represents Non-Asexual Allies and Partners who stand by them, and the purple band represents Community as a whole.
